Google's earning for the fourth quarter has increase again. This time they earned a whopping USD1.03 billion. Even since their acquisition of Youtube the popular video streaming website, it boosted their reputation as a multi billion cooperation. Explains why they have so much money to spare in acquiring Youtube. It seriously pose a threat to their biggest rivals, Yahoo because their earnings has dropped more than 60% over a year ago. It's not surprising that Google founders are one of the richest men in the world right now and their riches will continue to grow with the explosion of internet in this digital age.

internet tv?
This is so true. Because I believe TV will be revolutionized by the internet in long time to come. Ever since with the technology of peer to peer programs like Bittorrent and giant video streaming sites like youtube, the way we view television is not the same as before. More TV series are widely available on the internet after several hours it was aired, making it faster and reachable in a lighting speed. Emerging fast internet services also has a role to play. Will it encourage piracy? Maybe yes maybe no. Because when video content is easily available in the internet, who would want to buy pirated vcds from Uncle Ho?

alternative to fossil fuel?
Hah! This is interesting. Given our current dependence on fossil fuels, I think Mitsubishi is doing the right thing. Because fossil energy will not last forever and some how we need to deal with it in the future. So I felt Mitsubishi is heading to the right direction. Although the research is still remains in the initial stage, I think it's quite normal. Newer technology normally costs more to fund it's current research and to maintain it's development. Given some time, I am sure the cost will definitely go down and there will be lesser breakdown too.

xbox 360
Xbox 360 fans have many reasons to rejoice. That's because Elder Scrolls expansion has choose the console platform over Playstation 3. It will be interesting to see how Sony is going to compete with the two other giant consoles in the future. But any sane person should not write off any challenges from Playstation 3 because they should remember the console was only released last November. Playstation may lost this battle this time but they certainly did not lose the war. There's still a lot of battle to come. I will consider getting a Play Station 3 by 2008 but only when the prices are reduced. That's the case for any electronic products.

combating piracy.
It is difficult to curb piracy. It is even more difficult when we know there are hackers who are constantly trying to breach the security of DVD copy protection sofware. No matter how good they claim their security is, in the end it's the skills of that hacker that counts. I am not condoning the act of piracy but only stating my opinion that a lot of the so called security powered softwares are easily breached by these hackers. No wonder they say South East Asia is a living eden for piracy.

breaking news.
Fans of gadgets around the world should be excited with this news. As a gadget lover myself of course i will naturally feel excited at the prospect of seeing an exhibition of gadgets mania being paraded in front of my eyes. I will definitely drool at the prospect of seeing high tech equipments at the time and no, I still love women more though hehehe. But being a tech freak is my second love. Having said that, the recently launch iPhone is going to be a hit but it's pity that it will only be release in Asia in 2008.

potential hearing hazard to ipod users
Guys, please do not switch to the maximum volume in your ipod because there is a risk for permanent hearing damage. No I'm not talking about the other phD. I'm serious here. Although the manufacturers have reduced the maximum in ipod products, users also has a role to play in reducing this problem. It takes two hands to clap so if the users are not cooperative enough, it's quite useless even if the manufacturers keep reducing the maximum volume in the popular mp3 device.
